Some of you may have heard of replacement theology before and may think I’m going to speak about the Ekklesia vs the nation of Israel but I am not.
There is a form of replacement theology that is rampant in the supposed Christian world today and it has done a huge amount of damage. It is the replacement of holiness with entertainment which is amusing the goats instead of equipping the sheep.
I know many of you are well aware of this and that statement is nothing new to you. However, I believe few realise that this movement is so ingrained in our “churches” today that many don’t see the far more subtle and dangerous ramifications of where this has taken us.
Many today truly and honestly believe they are on the narrow path to eternal life but far too many have no idea of the fear of the Lord. They are actually repulsed by that notion and often state that “perfect love casts out all fear” but quote that WAY out of context.
The holiness of God didn’t suddenly change at the cross. Rather, that is where perfect love and perfect holiness met for the purpose of bringing the enemies of God with fear and trembling to repentance and continued holiness, perfected in the ongoing FEAR and LOVE of God. That is the calling and walk of a true saint.
If you truly know and love God, you will also truly fear God and that is HEALTHY and NORMAL. Anything else is the replacement theology of ecumenism leading the masses merrily along the broad path to the LAKE OF FIRE!
